Enter The Knot. I found it to be, by far, the most useful resource on the face of the planet. Not only did I find vendors, ideas and resources, but I found a circle of women who was in exactly the same boat that I was in. We commiserated together over guest lists and hotels rooms and unexpected twists in the road.
And somewhere along the road, we moved from Knottie Friends to Real Life Friends who have all gotten married (except two of us who are right around the corner... yah!) and moved on to the lives of Old Married Ladies!
At one of our regular dinners, we began discussing photo shoots and how silly it would be if we all got dressed in our gowns and had a mass trash the dress. And our silly idea came to reality on Saturday. Five of my new friends and I headed out to the fair in bridal gloriousness for an afternoon of ridiculous.

The bathrooms were stinky, so major props to these ladies for hanging out for a bit.

This one KILLS me. I told them to rock their model sexy faces... and Ali smiled & giggled!

But Ali is a giggler... that's what she does.

Really, the inspiration for this shoot came from that episode of Friends... you know the one. The One With All The Dresses. Popcorn, beer, wedding gowns.

Wendy, Anne, Ali, Natalie & Keren - Thank you for being absolutely fantastic models! For standing in the peesmell alley, for rocking the crazy wide-eyed stares of everyone, and for running all over town in your gorgeous gowns! I adore each and every one of you to absolute pieces.
