Ruthie & Daniel: The Photobooth

I was SOOO looking forward to this past Saturday. My husband Chris and I have always dreamed of working together. Years ago we weren't sure exactly what we'd be doing, but we both knew that we wanted to do it together. We got our first chance on Saturday!

Ruthie and Daniel (or Erik, or Daniel?!) had hired me to shoot their wedding along with Huntington Photography. They also hired me to shoot a photobooth! I brought Chris along to man the booth, run some errands and sneak in a few lovely shots. And it was heavenly!

The photobooth was a HUGE success. Guests absolutely love these and I am blown away with the ridiculousness that they create every single time. Absolute genius.

Enjoy the Slideshow!

Thank you Ruthie & Daniel, for inviting us in and making us feel cozy. More wedding images coming soon!

J'Adore My Husband

I came home today to Chris feverishly painting. There's so.much.to.do at the new house. SO MUCH! And he's taking on most of it on his own so that I can stay busy at the computer. So incredibly blessed to be his wife.

And then he goes and one ups himself!

I walked back to the room he was painting and he told me that he bought a new spice rack. Now, I'm quite the organizer. There's something so special about having everything in a specific place. At home, where it belongs. It gets me giddy!

So I bounce over to the spice cabinet... excited to see a super clean and organized space! And I open the door to find some new flavor :-)

EEEKKKKKK!!!

And because I'm a good wife, I didn't even make him watch it.

Maribeth & Michael: The Photobooth

I don't think I've ever worked with a sillier, funner, more ridiculous group. Ever.

There's usually a bit of trepidation with a photobooth... guests aren't sure what to do, they don't want to be the first ones, they feel silly, the list goes on and on! It takes a bit of time for them to relax and go nuts! But Maribeth and Michaels guests walked out of a beautiful ceremony and into silly mode. They flew in front of my camera and started the gigglies right away. It was awesome!

The giant cardboard cutouts of the bride and groom were genius... GENIUS! There were hilarious and brought out the silly side of every one of their guests immediately. AND every guest got to pose with the bride and groom, while Maribeth and Michael got to enjoy their reception. Genius I tell you.

Enjoy The Slideshow.

Congratulations Maribeth & Michael!

Smooth Operation

Chris and I just bought a house!

I planned a totally smooth move of everything. And in the planning stages, everything fell into place. Unfortunately life can look much better in theory than in reality. My internet connection was supposed to be moved on the same day as the rest of my life, but alas, it was not. I waited, and waited, and waited. And I called. And I got no answers. I called again. And then I found out that apparently if you don't answer when the technician calls you, they just don't come to your house. Even if your phone never rings. I got no phone call. No technician. No internet service.

So, I may be a bit MIA for the next few days until my life is a less cluttered hot mess and everything is back in its place.

Thanks!
